Popular boy band BTS’ member V has opened up about the recent stalking incident and has assured his fans that he is fine. The singer took to his Weverse handle and shared a picture of himself and wrote “Hehe I’m okay (fine) don’t worry.”
On October 27, a South Korean news outlet reported the arrest of a woman in her twenties for violating the country’s anti-stalking law. The woman had reportedly waited for V outside his apartment. She then followed the K-pop idol into the building’s parking lot as he arrived. KBS claimed that the woman even entered the same elevator as V and tried to speak with him, going so far as to hand him a marriage certificate with her name on it. Additionally it was reported that the woman has a history of stalking the singer in the past.
Big Hit Music has now released a statement about the incident. As reported by Soompi, the agency said, “We are responding with a no-tolerance policy to stalking crimes that disturb our artist’s personal life and threaten their safety.”

Fans on the internet expressed concerns for the singer’s safety. One of the fans wrote, “My heart breaks every time this happens. Hope they protect him more from now on. Is sad that they cannot be safe not even on their houses.” Another said, “How can someone do this please! We should respect them and their life! She shouldn’t have crossed the limit at least!”
On the work front, V recently released his solo album titled Layover.
